Silver Music Studios Policy

teacher and student

The following policy is not a contract. Any student may discontinue at any point, presuming proper notification is given and lessons are paid in full.

Silver Music Studios was established to provide creative music education for its students. To maintain this priority, it is important that students and teachers understand and adhere to the following lesson policy.

Lessons are given in a reserved, weekly time slot. The monthly tuition is due on or before the first lesson of each month. Each student’s name will remain on the schedule until we are notified of his or her intention to discontinue. At least four weeks notice should be given.

Tuition covers all reserved lessons regardless of student presence, absence, or cancellation. There are no refunds or applying(funds of) missed lessons to the following month.

Students are not charged for cancelled lessons due to the following reasons:

  • The teacher is unavailable
  • National or Religious Holiday
  • Student vacation(up to 2 weeks)

These cancelled, no-charge lessons are always dependent on prior notification.

If a student must miss a lesson, the teacher must be notified (on machine or in person) at least 24 hours in advance. If ill, please call by morning, so teacher can adjust accordingly. Then, that particular time slot will be open for another student to make-up a cancelled/missed lesson. Though we are not obligated to do so, we will make every effort to reschedule any cancelled lessons. Lessons will be rescheduled according to student and teacher availability. A no call/no show appointment warrants no make-up.

We ask each student to keep track of payments. If questions arise, please call (610)359-8535.
