Meet the new manager of Silver Music Studios,
Robert Cunningham

Rob will be the new scheduling, phone handling and marketing representative of Silver Music Studios. We are lucky to have him. Mr. Cunningham and Scot Silver (owner of the school) met back at West Chester University when big hair was still in. Ok, it was 1987. After Graduation and many bands together, both of us embarked on a career in music education. Rob has been a professional instructor for 10 years and counting. He is a performing and quite proficient bassist, singer and songwriter as well. Rob's enthusiasm, attention to detail, musicality and respect will help continue his role in the Silver Music Studios family.

Joke Corner

This is for all you jazz-heads out there

A young family is out sailing on the Nile.  Their guide is very friendly and informative. As they near the island of destination, they all take note of distant drum sounds. They are intrigued.  The guide reassures them that all is well, but “VERY BAD WHEN DRUM STOP!”  The family shrugs it off and sit back to enjoy the pulsating rhythms.

Soon they are a stone-throw from the island.  The drums have gotten faster and louder.  The guide restates that all is well, but “VERY BAD WHEN DRUM STOP!”

Finally, the daughter sits up and asks, “What happens when the drums stop?”

The guide looks around cautiously and turns sharply to the family and whispers, “BASS SOLO.”

If you don’t get it or just don’t think it’s funny, I’ll have more bad humor for you in a few months.

Odyssey On Sale Now!

Take a listen to Scot’s all-original, all-guitar new album. There is a myriad (I couldn’t help myself) of styles to be heard.

Everything from classical to jazz to rock to blues, all tempered with Scot’s well thought out arrangements, furious fretwork and just plain silliness at times. Fun for the whole family. On sale at the studio, website or at gigs.
